Getting started

Onboarding, trial, first steps.

What is Ma Belle Note, in one sentence?

Ma Belle Note is an app built for French local business owners (restaurateurs, hairdressers, dentists, garages, hotels, craftspeople…) who want to reply to every Google review without spending their evenings on it, turn happy customers into returning regulars, and run their reputation from their phone — no project manager, no agency, no sales call.

How long does it take to get up and running?

About 15 minutes to connect your Google Business Profile, let the AI learn your tone from your past replies, and validate your settings. From the very first minute, you get ready-to-publish draft replies for any new review.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

7 days of full access to the Pro plan, no credit card required. At the end, if you don't pick a plan, your account switches to read-only — your data stays intact and you can resume at any time by choosing a plan.

What equipment do I need?

A smartphone, a tablet or a laptop — that's it. Ma Belle Note is a mobile-first web app that runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen (PWA). No install, no hardware to buy — except the optional QR codes for review collection.

I'm not tech-savvy, will this work for me?

Yes, it's built for that. The interface is designed for an independent owner already juggling 15 things: 3 buttons, no jargon, everything works by thumb from your phone. If you get stuck, our support replies in French or English in under 24 business hours.

AI, control and safeguards

How the AI writes, what it publishes on its own, what it hands back to you.

Can the AI publish on my behalf without me reviewing?

Only if you turn it on. Ma Belle Note ships in "copilot" mode by default: the AI writes a draft, you approve in one tap before publishing. "Autopilot" mode is finely configurable — for instance auto-publish 4- and 5-star reviews and always hold 3-star or below for manual review.

How does the AI learn my tone?

The AI reads your last 20 manual replies (on Google, if you have them) to learn your voice: casual or formal, warm or to-the-point, emojis, signature. You can fine-tune at any time — "shorter", "no emojis", "sign as Chef Marc".

What if the AI writes something disastrous?

This is local owners' #1 fear and we took it seriously. Three safeguards: (1) copilot is on by default — nothing ships without your approval; (2) automatic detection of sensitive reviews (allergies, health issues, defamatory content) always routes to manual review, even in autopilot; (3) a full log of every published reply, revocable in one tap on Google.

Can the AI reply in English (or other languages)?

Yes. Ma Belle Note detects the language of each review and replies in the same language — French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch at minimum. Useful for tourist spots or border-area restaurants.

Can I edit a draft before publishing?

Of course. Every draft is editable before publishing, even a two-word tweak. You can also ask the AI to "make it shorter", "soften the tone" or "invite them back" — it regenerates the draft in your voice.

Core features

Loyalty wheel, QR codes, benchmark, fake-review shield.

What is the loyalty wheel?

A small game your customers play after a visit — via a QR code on the table or counter. They win a reward (a free coffee, a discount, a dessert) and, on the way, are invited to leave a Google review. Goal: turn the end-of-meal moment into a returning customer who talks about you.

What exactly are the QR codes for?

Collecting more reviews, simply. A printed QR code (sticker, coaster, receipt) sends to your collection page: a happy customer is redirected to Google to publish; a lukewarm one goes through internal feedback, without going public. QR codes are print-ready from the app.

Who does the benchmark compare me against?

The 5 to 10 direct competitors in your area — same time slot, same cuisine type, same geographic radius. You see where you stand on average rating, review volume, and — in the Premium plan — a qualitative analysis of the strengths and weaknesses mentioned most about competitors.

What does the fake-review shield flag?

Suspicious reviews — review-farm patterns, empty profiles, copy-pasted wording, geographic mismatch — with the Google reporting procedure ready to send in-app. It doesn't remove the review (only Google can decide), but it saves you the time of spotting it and drafting the report.

Integrations, platforms, multi-location

Google Business Profile, multi-address management.

Which review platforms are connected?

Google Business Profile natively — it's the most strategic platform for a local business in France and the one customers check first. We chose to bet everything on Google rather than spread thin across many platforms: read, reply, benchmark, dispute — everything goes through the official Google API.

Why Google only?

Because that's where your customers actually decide: 90% of local searches happen on Google (Maps, Search, and soon AI recommendation engines like Gemini and ChatGPT search). Concentrating all the product depth on one platform lets us deliver a deep integration instead of a dozen shallow connectors.

Can I manage several locations from a single account?

Yes, that's exactly what it's built for. One account = N locations, each with its own Google profile, AI tone, team. Switch between locations in one tap, and billing automatically applies the multi-location discount (from −10% to −30% by volume).

Can I import my past reviews?

Yes. When you connect your Google profile, we import your full review history to feed the benchmark and — in the Premium plan — the retrospective qualitative analysis (what customers see as your strengths and weaknesses over 12 months).

Does Ma Belle Note replace my CRM or POS?

No. Ma Belle Note handles neither bookings, orders, nor point-of-sale — it's a 100% reputation-focused app (reviews, replies, loyalty). It adds to your existing stack without replacing your POS or booking tool.

Security, GDPR and data

Storage, compliance, export, deletion, AI training.

Where is my data stored?

In the European Union, on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. No data leaves the EU. The full list of sub-processors (hosting, AI models, email delivery) is published in our DPA, accessible from the footer.

Are my customers told the AI replies to their reviews?

Nothing legally requires it on Google's side — you're the editorial owner of replies published under your name, whether you write them alone or assisted by AI. We still recommend a transparency mention in your terms or customer privacy policy, and we provide a template in our DPA.

Can I export my data at any time?

Yes, as CSV, one click from your account: reviews, published replies, contacts collected via wheel/QR. It's a GDPR right — we turned it into a button.

What happens to my data if I stop?

You can export everything before cancellation. After cancellation, your data is deleted within 30 days maximum. A confirmation email is sent at effective deletion. No hidden retention.

Do your AIs train on my data?

No. Your reviews and replies are not used to train generic or third-party AI models. They're only used to personalize your own voice, on your own account. Our model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) are configured in "no-training" mode and are not allowed to reuse your prompts.
